How long does it take for Verizon Wireless to confirm hire after a "contingent offer" of employment?

Was given, and accepted, a continge offer of employment with Verizon Wireless call center. One of the factors of the contigent offer was 'no felony convictions within the last seven years'. I have a felony conviction, but not within seven years. I have been waiting for 2-3 weeks. How long does it normally take to know something. Training class starts soon. What will happen if the information isn't verified by then?

The condition 'no felony convictions within the last seven years', does not apply to you. It takes 30 to 45 days normally . Best of Luck!!
