what classes are needed to be taken in order for me to work in a elementary school? not to be a teacher?

sorry, i mean like in the classroom, but not the actual teacher.

depends on the state some states only require a highschool diploma to be a teacher assistant and others require at least some college coursework completed.

Doing what? In the cafeteria, or the cleaning crew? Probably no classes required. As a secretary? Secretarial school would help, but commercial courses in high school might qualify you. As a teacher's aide? Probably an associates degree in early childhood learning.
