are hotel front desk jobs for slow people?

are front desk jobs at hotels for slow people? im a really slow worker but im a smart guy, what would be some good jobs for me? (i've tried really hard to be faster, but i get called slow in every job i get, i guess im a perfectionist or something) i've worked at fast food and regular restaurants, i suck at both. i did better when i worked in an office.

Well, you would need to be pretty quick and able to multi-task to work either the day or evening shift when there are heavy check-in and check-out times, but you might be a candidate for a night auditor on the 11pm-7am shift where the pace is much slower. You'd need to be good with numbers and have an eye for detail as well as a good personality at 5am when the guests start coming in for coffee and breakfast but the pace is much slower.
I've been in hotel management for over 20 years.

no during peak check in/out it can be rather fast pace and the customer will not appreciate a slow hand behind the desk!!!!

Don't you let anyone make you feel bad. Everybody is good at different things. Just try out different jobs and see what the best fit is. Hold your head high and know that God gives all different positive attributes!! Just be Happy!!
