I am going to my 2nd interview with a company on tuesday for an assistant manager. Need some pointers?
Asked by suzie B
I am interviewing for an assistant manager position in a pre teen- teen clothing store and i would really love to get this job. Could some one please give me some pointers and questions they may ask me so i can really stand out and get this job. I already interviewed with the store manager and this next interview is with the district manager. I think there is one other girl interviewing. Are there things they really would like to hear and see when they interview me for an assistant manager position?

They are probably going to ask you a lot of situational questions, such as how you might handle tough customers or difficult employees. Preparing to answer these kinds of questions beforehand and having a well thought answer can be a great way to win out over your competition, rather than stumbling for an answer.

A:
Expect more situational questions, as opposed to personal type ones. 'What would you do if such and such happened,' etc.
