How much doe's an armed Security officer get paid in Florida?

I'm thinking of becoming an armed security guard and wanted to know how much average pay is? Thanks

Amazingly enough, most security guards make the minimum wage, or just a little more. Even armed guards will earn only slightly more. For a higher wage, consider getting law enforcement experience. Off duty police officers or former officers can earn $25 to $30 per hour or more. Armed guards for armored car services also earn more.
