How much do human resources reps get?
Asked by operaphantom2003
I have a BS in philosophy and wanted to get into human resources. I know that in some companies you just need a degree, nothing specific.

I am in the field of HR. As the person already noted, it certainly has its challenges, but as much as people hate HR sometimes, they love us when they need us! It's really not much different than being any other Manager in that respect.
As far as earnings, you could reasonably expect to start in the high $30's-low $40's with a BS. After several years of experience and if you move up to a higher level managerial position with a large corporation you would be looking at 100K+.
However, because I have a Master's degree in HR I began at a significantly higher salary, so if you have considered graduate school, that would be the way to max out your earning potential in the field. The advanced degree is your fast ticket into the larger corporations where the $$$ and advancement potential is.
Good luck!

Well in order for you to get your foot in the HR world you would need to have experience in the field. Salary comes with experience and education.
Salary ranges are consider by education experience and location. There is a lot to consider when determining a salary wage.
Generally it can be a wide range low 30's to high 80's
