Pay for college.

Say you've got respect for the company & tell them why. Maybe you've stayed there and thought they were reputable, or do some research into their history- they might have been started by a small family, or could be a local (at least from your country) business, which you then feel proud to be supporting.
Perhaps you know someone who's been robbed on holiday (Maybe yourself?!) Talk about how people who are travelling deserve to be looked after, that's what they're paying for and that's what they should get. Say holidays are a time to relax, and you can improve their shrinkage which will allow their clientelle to do exactly that.
Talk about why you want to help prevent crime for society on a wider scale also, by getting them at your store, you're helping get them off the streets and hopefully rehabilitated which leaves the community that much better off.
How did you end up in your field? did you want to be a police? if you're using this as a stepping stone into the force then I'd skip that, otherwise (say you have something that prevents you from becoming an officer) use it to your advantage by telling them. It's doing the same thing, just a different title.. so it's just your dream pretty much.
Goodluck!
