what does a customer service rep do?

I have a interview to be a customer service rep and not exactly sure what they do? They answer phones and try to answer their billing probs n stuff right? Well I really need this job pays awesome I just need an idea of which of my many awesome traits to emphasize. Also is doing hair considered customer service?

They take calls from very angry customers and try to solve problems that they may have with services or products, billing or whatever. If you have patience and don't take things personal, like a bit of excitement everyday, then this is the job for you. I did it for 3 years. Edit* by the way, every caller isn't going to be irate and angry, didn't mean to scare you. I didn't like it though.
