Believe me, a home health aide makes little to nothing. The work is hard and the benefits are nonexistent. I doubt EKG techs make a great deal more, but at least the work is considerably easier, and you don't have to clean someones feces for a living. Neither occupation makes a huge salary. Where I live, EKG techs make maybe 20-24K a year. Home health aides make less.
