Check with your community colleges or ask the Medical Office Assistant the next time you go to the doctor's office.
Usually it's a 10 month programme with a 2 month job experience placement.

Usually not that much. Typically you only need to be a high school grad. Some technical colleges may require high school biology and perhaps chemistry.The program is typically a short technical based program. The college below requires an entrance exam.

Your best bet is to call all of the local schools that you are interested in. They may each have different requirements. Some programs may be slightly longer or shorter, or have different requirements.
