Non production/manufacturing jobs?

Hi I was laid off 6 months ago and I have been mainly looking to factory type work to ease the pinch, what are some non factory type jobs that a 30 yr old without a college education could do because i HATE burgerflipping/production work some that come to mind are dog catcher, DOT plow driver, hearse driver, and blackjack dealer 10 pts best answer

where are you located ? They are opening up a casino in a surrounding county which will revenue, thousands of jobs in our general area, and surrounding hotels I would think. Hotel/parking attendant there's a different job, how about security, my nephew got a security job and one his duties is to drive through the cemetery to look for Vandals, lets see, janitorial work , everyone needs a clean building, hook up with a cleaning service maybe.. good luck I hope you take this as an opportunity of adventure.. if you get in one place keep your eyes open for more adventure.. unless you find your American Dream job... I know how discouraging it can be but keep going forward

so, check your local state job availability (road dept police dept's, fire dept etc) Then, check on all availible jobs in your area for something that doesn't sound like it would drive you bonkers.
