Do I need to mail me resume out at the post office?
Asked by kaye
I am mailing out some resumes today and I bought some brown envelopes so I won't have to fold the resume up. Do I have to take these brown envelopes to the post office to be weighed? If I don't, how many stamps do I need to put on each envelope? I mean do I need to mail my resume out at the post office? I am at work and I am trying to type fast.

Are you afraid it is heavier than one 43 cent stamp? Then you have to weigh it and put the right postage on it.

A:
every resume come folded - stock worrying about and use regular envelopes

You should take them into the post office. It definitely will be more than one stamp, but it completely depends on the weight of the envelope. The last thing you'd want to send a potential employer is an envelope that has postage due...
