I have been an STNA for 3 years, I started when I was 18. Currently I work with 4 other STNA's who are 17 years old. They cannot work any overtime, and cannot work between 11pm and 6 am due to curfew. This is a wonderful job to get into, especially if you can find a nursing home or hospital that is willing to work with your schedule, especially when you begin your RN studies. Working as a CNA at 17 is definitely not unheard of just be sure you maintain a professional attitude and you'll be fine! Good Luck!

They sure will hire you! CNA's are VERY much in demand, it's a great career, but can be very challenging at times. It will give you awesome experience to aspire towards your goal of becoming an RN. Good luck!
