What is a better career to start electronics or Hvac?

I would say HVAC. Recently had one of my heating systems worked on. The HVAC company charges $180.00 an hour for a service call. Plus they make a profit on any parts they have to replace.

hvac. electronics is too general and it sounds like a black hole that you could categorize anything in. most people who think they know electronics really dont. they know how to replace things. i talked to a head electronics engineer in a company full of electronics engineers. they closed the company down, and i asked him, shouldnt he have kept a few around to help with the transition of selling the product to the new company? he laughed and said that none of those idiots knew how to read a wiring diagram and couldnt design an electronic circuit if their life depended on it, that e.e. ability was a gift, that schooling couldnt teach the ones who didnt have the gift. so much for electronics. btw. steve wozniak designed the apple computer in high school study hall. he was born with it.
