If you mean which job is more dangerous to an American, than I would go with crab catcher. Most coal mining in the US is now strip mining (above ground) and not so dangerous. If you mean in the world, I'd go with coal mining just judging by the number of men killed in China last year alone. Most of the men in my family were coal miners in Southern Illinois until all the strip mines closed due to the coal all being mined out.
