can you lose your job in childcare if social services take away your children?

a friend mum is studying childcare and is wokring with children and she treats her own children badly and cant even take care of them. I was wondering that if the social services get invovled would she lose her whole career?

I would say yes. If she can't take care of her own kids, I don't think she should be working to take care of other people's. :(
