What job/jobs have the quickest path to the healthcare field?
Asked by Christopher C
I would like for my wife to enter the healthcare field but all of the jobs I see need at least two year degrees. Is there something like a 6 mo program that can help her get started in the field?

Best Answer:
CNA and phlebotomist, both are less than 6 months, and you may qualified for free or reduced tuition trainning if you are unemployed or low income, especially there are a lot of needs for CNA.

A:
No, most medical fields want at least a 2 yr degree if not more. Sometimes experience and some schooling might work, but not many.

She could become a certified nurses aide wich takes around 6 weeks, and LPN wich takes like ten months, or an RN wich is the 2 year program. Where i live in NY, nurses aides make around 10 an hour, LPN's around 15 an and RN's around 22 an hour....starting off.
