What does someone with the job title of Word Processor actually do?
Asked by ♥Charity Jewel♥
There is a job opportunity through an employment agency to work (perm not temp) as an entry level word processor at an accounting financial firm that interests me for a friend of mine who has experience in the administrative field as a receptionist, data entry clerk and administrative assistant. My friend worked briefly as a finance clerk also. Does she have the skills/experience to work as a word processor. What exactly are the duties of a word processor? Thanks.

Since it is an accounting firm they will probably be entering data into an Excel spreadsheet, creating spreadsheets and preparing reports. Also possibly typing letters and billing statements to clients.
