Does it sound like my husband got the job?

He went for an interview for a Maintenance / Handyman for an apartment complex. The manager mainly asked about my husband's experience and he has LOTS of experience in carpentry work. We'll get a free one bedroom apartment and good salary if hired. After the interview, the manager told my husband to go and take a look at the apartment buildings he'll be in charge of and then to call the receptionist and let her know what he thinks of the apartments. What do you think? Does it sound like he got the job? Thanks!

It sounds promising, but don't count on it until he has a written offer or contract.

It might be good, but it could also just be a tour. I've gotten tours of places and then not gotten the job. Tours are standard at some places.
