Career Questions and Answers

JQ
What kind of careers are there in automotive aftermarket parts?
Asked by JQ
There are companies like HKS, Apexi, ARC, Turbonetics, JDM, Greddy, Blitz, Mishimoto, and Koyo just to name a few of the thousands out there. What kind of career can I pursue through those companies? What kind of degree would I need?

Best Answer:
A business degree (BS preferred) in management would be helpful depending on what you want to do within an organization. If you want to start in retail parts then you could start working the counter or cash register and work up through management. If you want to work for the manufacturer then you can start in the warehouse or manufacturing and work your way up into management. Warehousing and manufacturing can involve anything from stacking or repacking boxes to driving a forklift to loading trucks, ordering, purchasing, etc.,
