anyone recommend any courses/classes that would help me get on the pipeline?

I really want to get on the pipeline in BC here with a company like Kinder Morgan or similar, even just as a pipeline labourer, the money is great. With the recession Canada seems to be in right now not many places are hiring general laborers, does anyone know of any courses/classes/tickets/etc. that would give me a better chance getting on the pipeline as a laborer? much appreciated
