Always Getting Stuck With Weekend Late Shifts - Part Time!?

I'm 16 working at a grocery store thats open until 12 and he keeps putting me down to saturday or friday night, every week. Theres like 10 people working in our department that he can choose from but it's always me who has to work at least one of the days. I am the newest however, but i've been there for at least 4 months and barely ever ask for days off unlike others who travel and play hockey. What should I do? Should I make up an excuse that I can't work those days? Like what? I dont really want to tell him not to schedule me to work those days because hes going to be a dick probably.
