Try a Temp Agency - they might be able to find you a daily data entry type job.
Other options - receptionist in a gym, cashier in a supermarket, department store, book store etc, hostess in a restaurant
If I were you I'd talk to a temp agency first (assuming that you can use a computer) fill out an application. If they don;t find you something right away start looking into other places as well.
Take a drive around your town (and/or neighboring towns) and put in applications into all stores/restaurants in the area. If you would like to find a job quickly apply to as many places as possible, if a manager is not available when you are there, ask when one will be available so you can come back to see him/her in person to discuss your application.
If it's really important that you work 9 - 2, it might mean that you need to put your application into more places until you find one that will be happy with those hours.
Good luck

a superstore/supermarket?
try a big brand name, they should be recruiting, and see what hours they have. you may have to come to a comprimise but usually they have something good.

You can always start out low man on the totem pole at a fast food place. Granted, its not the most glamorous job, but it pays and it shows you're willing to work and gain experience.

You could try a temp agency like Kelly or Manpower. You could try Walmart or Target or any other big box store.

Try working at your college. Ask Student Services if there are any openings. Other than that, you just have to look around town yourself for a place you would want to work at thats not a fast food place..like walgreens or some other grocery store.

You should work at a grocey store, i dont know what you heard about them but it actually is a pretty fun job if you like working with people. I would adice you no matter what you do, that when you say what days you want you put at least one of the 3 weekened days, i picked sunday cause its the most busyest day and i like hanging out with my friends. Your hours are nice and you wont get stuck with doing the late night chores =X there is many pros, store discounts is nice, and the people who work there and usally nice, for me they are. But the only downside i have seen is that working on the hollidays are BRUTALLLLLLLLLLLLLLL not even funny

Well if you don't want a job in a fast food joint.. maybe you can work in a cafe or a small restaurant as a waiter instead? You don't really need much experience or qualifications to do that right? Or you can work in one of those hardware stores restocking items?
