Does Publix grocery store have a workers UNION?
Asked by Billabong
I heard that's why the prices are so high. I was thinking about taking a part time job there. Do they pay well, and is there a union?

There is no union at Publix.... And the prices are not really that high... maybe on some things but you just have to compare and you will see.... Publix main focus is customer service.... every register has a bagger that will carry your grocery out to your car, the stores are cleaner then the competition, etc.... so those costs are naturally built into the prices... they have to be doing something right.... every week they are opening new sores...while other retailers are closing some ...

I can't stand Publix, they are a joke and overpriced. They probably do have one though, because they're so dam pretentious!!!!
