Does anyone know how much a Medical Administrative Assistant make per hour? Because I am interested and hope to major in that field.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics publishes a very comprehensive Occupational Outlook Handbook that describes a variety of jobs, the educational requirements, and the expected earnings. You can find the entry for administrative assistants here: http://www.bls.gov/oco/ocos151.htm. This includes entries for medical and legal administrative assistants, so be sure to read the whole thing.
According to the BLS, medical secretaries earned a median annual salary of $28,090 in May 2006. The middle 50% earned between $23,250 and $34,210. The lowest 10% earned less than $19,750, and the highest 10% earned more than $40,870.
To calculate the hourly salary, divide these numbers by 2080; 2080 is the number of hours a person working a 40-hour work week will work in a year. So, the highest 10% of medical secretaries earned about $19.65 per hour.
