What kind of jobs can a nursing assistant get?
Asked by hb_angel_2003
I am looking into the Nursing Assistant program at the local junior college. It says it prepares you for jobs as a nursing assistant, phlebotomist and a medical unit clerk. What kind of jobs can you get with this training? Through this 2 semester program they teach you the material for all 3 programs so you can take the certification exams. i just don't know what kind of jobs i can get

I am taking online courses. I am actually taking 3 different courses all in nursing. I am doing medical and dental assistant, medical claims and billing, medical transcription. So of course I am not working yet cause i am still in school but I do know that you can get office jobs at the hospitals and dr offices and nursing homes and physical therapy and places like that. I never heard anything about helping with phlebotomy. I think you have to get a certificate for phlebotomy not through medical assitant. Good luck!
