Hello, does any one have any tips on how to become a beer, liquor sales rep ?

I've been a sales professional designing and selling swimming pools for the last 8 years. Thanks to the economy, I need to find something else FAST. Food, sex and drugs seem to be pretty recession proof so, I'd like to find out what would be the best way to get into a position as a beverage (beer, wine and liquor) Sales rep.

Most of the jobs are at the distributor level. Find the local distributors, and call them.
