Neecia B
what is like as a computer forensics investigator?
Asked by Neecia B
Basically my question is whether or not computer forensic investigators have to know ALL the terminology and concepts behind working with computers. (Because in my network forensics class, the computer speak just goes right over my head). Any other general information about working as an investigator would be helpful too. I would appreciate feedback from actual investigators.

You basically have to know everything there is to know about data storage, and all the terminology that goes with it. Graphics cards rarely come up for forensic analysis. Hard drives and storage devices do.
