What careers can branch out from phlebotomy?

I am going to be taking phlebotomy this spring. I was wonder what is the next career above a phlebotomist? Example If your a CNA your can advance your career to be a RN. So if i am a phlebotomist I can advance my career..... to a what? Thanks for any help.

Nothing per se; although it is a skill you can use in many other careers such as RN, PA, Med tech, MD etc. But the class will not count for anything academically in another program; you would start all those classes at the beginning; its just a skill that you would be already trained in.
