How does the state of Arizona determine how nursing wages are calculated?
Asked by August R
I am suppose to write a 700-1,050 word paper on how nursing wages are calculated in any state, I would like the state of Arizona for the year 2009 or something close in years. I am having a hard time finding a web site for it, can you help?

go to salary.com. They allow you search for pay scales on different occupations based on the state you reside in. The also have a paycheck calculator. Please keep in mind a lot of nurses who work graveyard shift are paid based on diffs, aka differential pay. So their pay is always higher than what a nurse working regular day would be. Also, many nurses who work nights every now and then are paid diffs just for those nights that they work.
