Can I work at Publix ONLY during the summer?
Asked by xblueside
Hi, I'm 16 and want to get a job at my local publix (grocery store), but I only want to work during the summer. (I wouldn't have a way to get there during the school year, since I don't have a car) Does anyone know if this is possible? It seems as if the kids I see working there work ALL year long, and I only want a temporary job. Any help? Anyone with past experience working at a Publix? Any help is appreciated. :)

Best Answer:
Apply for a job and ask the Assistant Store Manager.... he will do the hiring... it may be hard to do...because usually college kids will come home for the summer and Publix will usually hold jobs for them... But, you will never know until you ask ! Good Luck !
