Best job for the future?
Asked by Nirvana
I am currently a senior in high school and heading into college in the fall. Like most other students, I can't decide on a major. I really want to do what's good and profitable for the future. The thing that comes to mind is a job in the alternative energy sector. Like a job for a wind, solar, or natural gas company. I think this is where the future is and would like to get into this field. What major do you recommend for this prospect and what specific career path would you recommend for me? I'm all open to ideas. Thanks.

all the other answers are SPAM. If you like science I would recommend environmental science major. You can be an environemental scientist and I think they will be in high demand too. Here you go: Its a career website that I do not get any profit from showing you: http://www.cacareerzone.org/graphic/search/results.html?query=environmental+scientist good luck

you need to do your homework and see what you want to spend the rest of your life doing. dont ask anyone what you should do. if you want to work in that field then you should be making some phone calls to find out what that career is really about. how much training you will need , how much for the training , how long will the training take. solar is big because lots of people want to start using another form of energy for the residence. they also have tried that in a car so by the time you get rolling you will not need to know that field to go in but what you would like to do in that field.
