Must one first take the civil service exam to be considered for Federal employment in the Health Care Field?

I am looking for a job with the Federal Government specifically in Health Care related fields. Will I have to take a civil service exam?

When posted yes take civil service exam.

Hi There, What I might suggest is calling your local Health Care Employment Services. For example, in Denver, CO I found some places to call. These places will probably have a better idea whether or not you have to take the Civil Service Exam. Hope that helps and best of luck!
