Will a misdemenor possession of marijuana conviction keep me from getting a job at WalMart?
Asked by Joelolly
I just got done with my interview at WalMart. I passed the drug screen and I'm waiting on them to get back with me about my background check. I put down on the paper that I had been convicted in October. I got a copy of the background check today in the mail. It doesn't have anything on it saying I didn't get the job, just somthing saying 'below are charges that could have an adverse effect on your emloyment'.

Yes, chances you probably did not get the job. I hope the 1 hr high was worth you not getting the job! And the fun part! How long did you force yourself to not smoke so you could get the job. Did you buy some special fix so you could pass? This drug charge will haunt you for the rest of your life. I hope it was worth it!!!
