How do I find a job or work as a plumber?

I've just finished a plumbing course and now I need to start work. Is it better to work for myself or to get a job? Any helpful suggestions as to how to do the above would be gratefully received. Many thanks.

I think you'd be better off getting a job with someone initially to gain a bit of experience. There are usually jobs like that advertised in local newspapers I've noticed
