How much does a promotion assistant for a radio station make?

A girl I know works as a promotion assistant for a radio station and wanted to recommend me a job for that same position as well and she said she makes about $25 an hour. Does this sound right? I thought that radio station jobs do not pay well. Because radio station jobs seem like they don't pay well my POINT of this question was to ask if anyone else who is in the industry or knows about it can tell me if getting paid 25 dollars an hour to start sounds reasonable. Any job in entertainment will be hard to get. Starting out you will be paid little more than minimum especially at a small station.
