How to become a landscaper at age 16?

I am 16, looking for a summer job before they are all taken. There are not too many exiting jobs available at my age, but I am interested in landscaping/yardwork. If you were a landacaper would you trust/hire a 16 year old? Do you know of any job opportunities or information? Or any other jobs I could get at my age?

Landscapers should be hiring at this time of year. Start calling around or look in your local newspaper. If you are a hard worker, they will want you. Do it now!! At 16, you may find a job, but they are really going to be hard to find with 2 million people out of work.
