Career Questions and Answers

A few questions about careers in law enforcement?
Asked by Quinn
I'm in 8th grade and I'm thinking about pursuing a career in law enforcement when I get out of high school. I'd like to know a little about how the system works. Tell me about some of the job perks. How does the promotion system work? Do CSI agents start as regular police officers? Tell me all you know and enjoy about the law enforcement, mainly about regular police officers. But please add some other details about CSI agents, FBI, ect. Thank you!

I'm guessing you're from america. CSI and FBI are very competetive, as far as i know. you rly need to have ur sh1t together. CSI is a branch of regular policing which you may request transfer into after a certain time in general duties. FBI is another investigative service but for the government. It's external, but again, you can't play games there either. being america it will be easy to get into but i don't think you get payed that much. but you need to seriously ask yourself why you're going into law enforcement. American media does a VERY good job of glorifying thier own defence systems and thier activities (eg. NCIS, CSI, Numbers etc.) I personally hate cops. they book me not wearing my helmet when i ride my bike or for going 92 in a 100 zone which makes me lose my license [which loses me my job] and forces me to redo the world's most difficult licensing system (i'm from australia - look it up) but what happens when a serial murderur/rapist shows up? whinge whinge whinge, underfunded, understaffed, underpaid etc etc. did they find that guy that bashed my mate and broke 1 of his bones for no reason? no. did they shut my neighburs party down bcus they decided it was too noisy? yes. I've told you all i enjoy about local police officers. EDIT: its like 6-7 am in the US so ur probably not from america. u can't get into FBI if ur not american and CSI is an american term for detective

I suggest you to try project payday, simply because you don't need any money up front and you can start making money within minutes. I average around 3,500 dollars every month with it. Check it out at http://lin.cr/bne
