I need to know the expected current salary range of a boom operator.

Union or nonunion, what state, what country?
300.00-400.00 day nonunion 12 hour day.
Union as in IATSE Im going to guess 25.00 to 34.00 an hour first 8, time and a half the next 4, then double time after twelve plus possible meal penalties depending on how on the shoot is.
There is no permanent work in film tv and music. Jobs can be sporatic you might make alot but you also might work 6 months of the year too.
Film, Tv, Music is feast or famine.
Its been a few years since Ive seen a contract, it will be in that range somewhere.
