How can I find out job descriptions for anything but manager for an Old Navy retail store?
Asked by cutie
I recently went to an interview for this company and when asked what positions I was willing to take, I said any. I have only had two jobs before and they were both as basically being a cashier and maybe some customer service. I'm kind of worry that if I do get hired, it'll be for a position (I know not manager) I will have no idea what I'm doing.

Old Navy associates are either Customer Experience Associate or Logistics Associate.
Customer Service is: cashier / salesfloor / fitting room.
Logistics is: shipment processing / markdowns / signage.
It doesnt matter if you don't have any experience for either of them, you will learn what you need to know. However, the hours you are available pretty much dictate if you will be on Customer Service or Logistics because a Logistics associate must be available to work at the time of store shipment (varies by location) - usually late night or early morning.
If you're experienced and a good worker, they may offer you a cash handler position, which means you are associate that can count registers at the start and end of each day. But that position usually comes without pay increase...
I work at O.N.

I might be wrong . If you are apply for cashier and customer service for a Old Navy clothing,
When people walk in, you would ask the customer may I help you? study the height of the person and learn what size the
person wear or ask them what size are you looking for.
Some time they buy it for other people.Try to remember how many
color the store stock that style, Often they probably have you change
price tags or fold clothing refill stocks
I hope it help you and good luck
