Asked by Abbey loves Jesus
How are they the same and different? What abou educational and training requirements? What about salary? And if possible the job outlook for these two positions in the future. Thank God bless.

Vet. Technician: http://www.bls.gov/oco/ocos183.htm Vet. Assistant: http://www.bls.gov/oco/oco20055.htm See - Veterinary assistants and laboratory animal caretakers (located near the bottom of the page)

I would say the only difference is the way you spell it. As for the money you would have to check with the Vet as it depends on where you live, just call one or two and tell them you are planning on an education in the Veterinary field and what is the wage range. You might also ask where is a good place to learn in your area.
