What's a skilled job that doesn't require long training? is being a satellite technician a hard job?

I need to save up for college so I need the money. maybe a job where i place cement or something. i need somethign that pays decent and something i can start rigthaway

Well . .my husband works for a gutter installation company. They usually pay their installers around $29 an hour. Requires on the job training, but no skill level to start.
Garage Door installers make decent cash. My cousin does this. Depending on the company you work for will depend on the type of money you make and the way you make your money. Again, requires on the job training but no skill level to start. Some companies provide vehicles but you will have more options if you have your own truck. It pays really nice. I believe he brings in about $90,000 - $100,000 a year. He has had a lot of experience and is very skilled at what he does .. so this also makes a bit of a difference.

You can't find many skilled jobs that don't required long training. That the definition of skilled, after all--that it takes a long time to acquire the skills.
Yes, being a satellite technician is hard. Or do you mean someone who installs satellite TV? That's not all that hard.
