Adam F
How much to pay a bartender?
Asked by Adam F
I'm planning a birthday party at the end of June and would like to bring in a bartender or two for about 6 hours. How much would be fair to offer the person. This will be in South Buffalo specifically but I think answers from any area would give me a good gage.

Best Answer:
10$ an hour, and he'll get tips too

A:
With tips $10.00 to $15.00 hour without tips $20.00/hour. You could also state $100.00 for the full time.

You could get somebody great for $100. The economic downturn has made a lot of people suddenly available and happy to work..

A:
It depends, if you want your party guests to be responsible for gratuities, (Most private parties dont) Then an hourly rate like $10-15 an hour plus tips. If not, a flat rate like $100-$150 for the entire 6 hours would be appropriate.

It won't be what you offer, but what they say they will work for. My guess would be $15 to $20 per hour
