Best Answer:
Which state? Check with your state Board of Pharmacy. Pharmacy Technician minimum age "Regulations/Rules" vary by state. Example of one state "registration" requirement: Maryland = Be 17 years old or older (10.34.34.04) The PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board) offers a Pharmacy Technician exam (PTCE). One PTCE application requirement is that you possess a "High School Diploma or its equivalent". Once you pass the exam you may use the designation of CPhT (Certified Pharmacy Technician). http://www.ptcb.org Note: Some states require a Pharmacy Technician to be PTCB certified.
