Best Answer:
A medical assistant takes vitals, preps patients and does appointment scheduling, paper work etc. Can only work in a clinic. An LVN is kind of like a nurse, they have mostly the same responsibilities, they might not be able to do all but it's a lot more hands on than an MA. The can work at a hospital, clinic, rehabilitation center etc. They get paid better too.
Was a MA now an RN.

A med assistant only assists when it's needed and does all the vitals, cleans the rooms etc. An LVN is a NURSE. Does all the cool stuff RN's do just get paid a little less. Thats all. If your looking for better pay, then go with LVN. If your looking for less responsibility and stress, go with MA
