Are there any begginer cooking classes or schools that help you find a job afterwords?

Are there any begginer cooking classes or schools kind of like bartender schools that last from 1-2 weeks (maybe a little bit longer) and then help you find a job after you finish the course? If so where can I find them and how do I contact them? thank you

No. Your bartending example is perfect. Those "schools" turn out hundreds of graduates who find out that there are 15 applicants for every bartending job. The "school" was a waste of time. Culinary Schools cost $20,000 to $60,000 and last 6 months. Your best bet is to get hired in a restaurant and to learn from the chef. All the chefs take time to teach you. Then you can sub in for them if they call in sick or go on vacation. In the meantime, cook every recipe in the book The Joy Of Cooking..
