Help!! Please!! Serious answers only please! Ok, My sisters husband is a local truck driver here in Illinois.?
Asked by rainedrop61
Well, this week his hours where cut to zero and he is now on stand by. If they have a load for him to deliver he works. If not he doesn't. Which means no money or paycheck. So they decided to have him get a job as a over the road trucker again. He did that for years. So, he applied at a few jobs and where told both times that because JB Hunt put a accident on his driving record they couldn't hire him. Well, they called JB Hunt and asked what that was all about? And they said they had no record of it, but they still couldn't remove it from his driving record. Even though there is no record of it? Yes! To bad so sad! So we all got together and called the other companies and they said if we could get it removed he'd have a job! So, we then called a attorney for the truckers that we found in the Truckers Magazine. And she for 375.00 she could get it removed. Well, 375.00 is like a million dollars to them right now. So, my question to you all is . is there anyone out there that can help my sisters husband get this removed from his records so he can get a job??? He needs this done ASAP, as his wife works full time but cant match what he makes in pay. So there mortgage and other bills can get paid. thank you.

What all the trucking companies are pulling is the driver's DAC report. Commercial drivers have the right, once a year to get a copy by writing USIS. go to usis.com. Follow the instructions to print and mail form.
You have the right to challenge any wrong information just like your credit report.
Good luck!
