Two Weeks Notice From Going Full Time To Part Time Advice?

I will be giving my two weeks notice from going full time at work to part time for many reasons. There is a lack of garanteed full time hours and the current work place I work at cannot gaurantee full time hours. The new place I will be working at can. However, as much as I am bitter with situtation and how work treats me where I am at I want to not burn bridges and I want to demote myself to part time and work occasionally for them. How should I write this out?

First I would talk to your boss - and get a feel for the impact this would have on the organization. If he can work with you dropping to part time then you may not need to write anything out - if you do, just keep it simple: give the date, state your name and request a reduction of hours - throw in something about how you love working there or whatever so they are not put off.
