Which one is better as a job, Drafting or laboratory technician?

People has been telling me to do laboratory technician as in good job opportunity because u get to work mostly in government field which is more safe than private business, and I don’t know which one is better now (drafting) or (laboratory technician), I am interested in both but I need to know which one has more job opportunity especially in Australia, has less stress, and better pay? Thank you

Both jobs are really pretty boring, without much excitement. Lab tech is probably the most boring, because it involves a large number of hours and boring careful experimentation which can't really be automated. But it is a start on the way to a career in science, which can be interesting if that is what you want to do. Drafting, is better now with more technology to take the mundane out of the work, with career options in design and even animation work.
