Laura
I want to get involved with wildlife conservation/rehabilitation...not sure what degree to do?
Asked by Laura
I am considering: BSc Ecology & Conservation/Zoology or Bachelor of Vet Tech..... would it be better to have the theoretical knowledge of conservation or would it be better to do vet tech which is more hands on experience? (It's pretty much vet nursing... doesn't really focus on wildlife.. focusses on domestic & farm animals) Which would be a more advantageous degree to get involved with wildlife conservation & wildlife rehabilitation programmes? Thanks

General career info: http://www.bls.gov/oco and can search biological scientists (has brief description of wildlife biologists and zoologists), veterinary technicians or such. Please steer clear of those online, for-profit schools such as penn foster, university of phoenix, capella, kaplan, strayer, devry, ITT tech, sanford brown, walden and others as they are merely out to 'make a profit' (and credits don't always transfer to other schools): http://www.ripoffreport.com and can type into search. US colleges: http://www.utexas.edu/world/univ
